Doctors prescribe art to fight anxiety and depression
NCT ID NCT06361667
Summary
This study tested whether participating in arts programs like dance, cinema, or theater could improve mental wellbeing and reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression. 382 participants aged 10-99 with various mental health conditions were randomly assigned to either start arts activities immediately or wait three months. Researchers measured participants' wellbeing, anxiety, and depression levels over several months to see if the arts programs helped.
