Can painting and drawing ease the mental strain of dialysis?
NCT ID NCT07005960
Summary
This study is testing whether art therapy can help reduce anxiety and improve mental resilience in people receiving long-term hemodialysis treatment for kidney failure. 70 patients were split into two groups: one group participated in eight art sessions over four weeks, while the other received their usual care. Researchers are measuring changes in anxiety and resilience levels to see if the creative activities provide a meaningful benefit.
