Berry boost for the brain? study tests natural extract
NCT ID NCT05268133
Summary
This study tested whether a supplement made from aronia berries could improve brain health in older adults at risk for memory problems. Researchers gave 30 participants either the berry extract or a placebo to see if it increased blood flow and insulin sensitivity in the brain. The goal was to understand *how* the supplement might work, not to treat a specific disease.
