First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looked at whether taking aronia berry extract can improve brain blood flow and insulin sensitivity in adults aged 55-75 who are overweight and at risk for memory problems. Thirty participants took either the berry extract or a placebo for a period, then switched. The goal was to understand how the extract might support brain function, not to treat a disease.
