NCT ID NCT05759286
First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether smelling lavender-neroli oil and listening to familiar music can reduce anxiety and pain in children during a dental numbing shot. 108 kids aged 6-11 were split into four groups: aromatherapy only, music only, both, or a placebo mask. The goal was to see if these simple, drug-free methods make dental visits less scary.
