First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study looks at whether breathing in lavender aromatherapy oil can help cancer patients feel less pain and anxiety during a bone marrow biopsy. About 45 adults with cancer who are nervous about the procedure will try the oil or a placebo. The goal is to find a simple, drug-free way to make the experience more comfortable.
