First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looked at whether aromatase inhibitors, a common hormone therapy for breast cancer, affect balance and increase fall risk in postmenopausal women. Researchers compared 76 women who had taken the drug for at least a year with those who had never taken it. They used special balance tests and ultrasound measurements to see if the drug weakens leg muscles or impairs stability.
