Summary

This Phase 3 study tested a drug called plozasiran (ARO-APOC3) in 75 adults with familial chylomicronemia syndrome, a rare genetic disorder causing extremely high blood fat levels and risk of pancreatitis. Participants received four injections of the drug or a placebo over several months. The main goal was to see if the drug safely lowers triglycerides and reduces pancreatitis attacks.
