New program aims to tackle the hidden stress of diabetes care
NCT ID NCT06887049
Summary
This study is testing a new training program for primary care clinics called ARISE. The goal is to help doctors and nurses better screen for and address 'diabetes distress'—the unique emotional stress of managing the disease—in adults with type 2 diabetes. Researchers want to see if this approach helps improve patients' blood sugar levels and overall well-being compared to standard care.
