NCT ID NCT07558135
First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at the best way to manage patients after surgery to remove one adrenal gland. Some people develop adrenal insufficiency, where the body can't make enough stress hormones, which can be dangerous. The trial will compare giving steroids to everyone at risk versus testing hormone levels first and only treating those who need it. About 96 adults having adrenalectomy at King's College Hospital will take part.
