First seen Mar 13, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study looks at whether regularly screening for diabetes-related emotional distress can help adults with type 2 diabetes improve their blood sugar levels. About 1,250 adults with high blood sugar (A1C over 8%) will take part. Researchers will track changes in A1C and cholesterol over time to see if emotional support makes a difference.
