First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tests whether a gentler surgical technique using argon plasma can better protect the ovaries compared to the standard cystectomy for ovarian endometriomas. Seventy-two women with endometriosis will be randomly assigned to one of the two procedures. The main goal is to see how each surgery affects ovarian reserve by measuring AMH hormone levels before and after treatment.
