New surgical technique aims to ease hemorrhoid pain

Summary

This study tests whether using argon plasma coagulation during hemorrhoid surgery can reduce pain and complications compared to standard methods. About 100 adults with severe hemorrhoids will be randomly assigned to one of two surgical techniques. Pain levels and recovery will be tracked for up to six months after surgery.
