First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This early-phase trial studies how to best give arginine (a natural amino acid) alongside whole brain radiation for people whose cancer has spread to the brain. Researchers will compare oral and IV arginine to find the dose that reaches the highest blood levels. The goal is to learn the safest and most effective way to give arginine before testing if it truly helps radiation work better. Only 10 adults with brain metastases will take part.
