Video game tech steps up to help stroke survivors walk again
NCT ID NCT07113093
Summary
This study is testing whether adding video game-like technology to physical therapy can help people walk better after a stroke. Researchers will compare treadmill training using augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) programs to standard home exercises. The goal is to see if these interactive, engaging technologies improve balance, walking speed, and confidence in 66 stroke survivors during their rehabilitation.
