Summary

This study tests whether augmented-reality goggles, combined with a special dye called indocyanine green (ICG), can accurately identify cancerous lymph nodes during breast cancer surgery. Two hundred adults with breast cancer will take part. The goggles use near-infrared light to highlight lymph nodes that may contain cancer, and the results are compared with standard lab analysis of the removed tissue.
