Summary

This small study tested whether a smartphone app using augmented reality (AR) could help people manage cravings while trying to quit smoking. The app was designed to be an engaging tool used alongside standard telephone quitline counseling. Researchers primarily wanted to see if the app was easy and satisfying to use for a small group of 14 participants.
