Smartphone app aims to make HIV Self-Testing easier and more confident
NCT ID NCT05781165
Summary
This study tested whether using an augmented reality (AR) app on a smartphone could help men who have sex with men (MSM) perform HIV self-tests more easily and confidently. Researchers compared the AR app to standard paper instructions. They measured how confident users felt, how easy the test was to complete, and whether people liked the AR approach.
