QR code heart care: can a phone app keep patients out of the hospital?
NCT ID NCT07399379
Summary
This study tested whether giving heart patients an augmented reality app at discharge could help them better understand their care. Over 300 patients who had a heart attack, heart failure, or other heart conditions were given either standard paperwork or the paperwork plus an app with visual instructions. Researchers followed them for six months to see if the app improved how well patients followed their treatment and reduced serious heart problems.
