Hope for severe mouth ulcer sufferers: new drug trial launches

Summary
This study tests if the drug apremilast can completely heal painful mouth ulcers in people with severe recurrent aphthous stomatitis who haven't responded to standard treatment. About 134 adults will receive either apremilast or a placebo for 12 weeks. The goal is to see if the drug can clear all ulcers and improve quality of life.
