Summary

This study tests whether the drug apremilast can help people with alcohol use disorder drink less. About 80 adults who drink heavily will receive either apremilast or a placebo, and researchers will measure how much alcohol they consume during a lab drinking session. The goal is to see if this medication can reduce drinking and support recovery.
