First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tested whether two different doses of dietary supplements (DIM and Perilla oil) delivered to the lower gut could reduce appetite and food intake in 16 adults with obesity. Participants fasted, took capsules, and had blood drawn every 30 minutes to measure hunger hormones. The goal was to see if the supplements affect appetite and how much people eat.
