Phone app aims to keep diabetes patients on track with weekly injections

NCT ID NCT06478550

Summary

This study tested whether a smartphone app and a small device attached to an Ozempic pen could help people with type 2 diabetes continue their weekly injection treatment. About 300 participants who were already prescribed Ozempic were involved. The goal was to see if this digital support system made it easier for patients to stick with their medication over a 10-month period.
