Smartphone app aims to be a lifeline for teens in crisis
NCT ID NCT06701006
Summary
This study is testing a smartphone app designed to help teens and young adults (ages 13-21) who are having suicidal thoughts. The app helps them and their healthcare provider create a safety plan and provides videos with coping skills and support for both the youth and their parents. Researchers want to see if using the app, on top of regular care, improves coping skills for the teens and confidence for their parents and doctors in managing these situations.
