First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tests whether a smartphone app that guides patients through exercises, nutrition tracking, and mood check-ins before cancer surgery can improve their physical function and reduce anxiety. About 60 adults scheduled for elective cancer surgery will either use the app or receive usual care. The main goal is to see if the app helps them walk farther on a six-minute walk test just before their operation.
