Phone app tested as new tool to fight back pain
NCT ID NCT06420596
Summary
This study tested whether adding a smartphone app to standard physiotherapy helps people with ongoing low back pain. 60 German-speaking adults with back pain for at least 6 weeks were split into two groups. One group received standard physiotherapy, while the other got the same treatment plus access to the 'Akina Cloud' app for guided exercises and communication with their therapist.
