Community navigators aim to ease cancer journey for latinx patients

Summary
This study tests whether pairing newly diagnosed Latinx colorectal cancer patients with a community health worker navigator improves their quality of life. Sixty participants in Santa Clara County will be randomly assigned to receive either this personalized support or a standard resource list. The goal is to see if this community-based approach helps patients manage their care and feel better during treatment.
