Summary
This early-phase trial tested a combination of four drugs (apalutamide, abiraterone, docetaxel, and prednisone) in 16 men with metastatic castrate-resistant prostate cancer that had stopped responding to hormone therapy. The main goal was to find a safe dose of apalutamide when used with the other drugs. Researchers also tracked PSA levels and tumor changes to see if the combination could help control the disease.
