New heart valve study could offer seniors a Surgery-Free option

Summary
This study tests whether a newer, less-invasive valve replacement (Myval THV) works as well as traditional open-heart surgery in people aged 65 to 75 with severe aortic stenosis. About 1,180 participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two procedures. The goal is to see if the newer valve is safe and effective at one month and one year after treatment.
