Scientists launch 4-Year hunt for clues to stop heart valve disease
NCT ID NCT06047561
Summary
This study aims to learn what causes aortic stenosis (a stiffening heart valve) to progress and what happens after valve replacement. It will follow 300 people, including patients with mild to severe disease and healthy volunteers, for four years. Researchers will use advanced heart scans and blood tests every 6-12 months to track changes in the valve.
