New drug trial hopes to slow muscle loss in FSHD

Summary
This study tests an experimental drug called AOC 1020 in 200 adults with facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD), a genetic disease that causes progressive muscle weakness. Participants receive either the drug or a placebo by IV every few weeks. The goal is to see if the drug can improve muscle strength and daily function over time.
