Summary

This study aimed to understand how people with high levels of anxiety process emotional faces, like fear or happiness. Researchers used brain scans (MRI) and computer tasks where participants identified facial expressions. The goal was to gather basic science information that could one day help develop new therapies targeting vision and perception in anxious individuals.
