First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tested a simple, non-invasive acupressure technique called Energy Resonance by Cutaneous Stimulation (RESC) to see if it could lower anxiety in women about to undergo a breast biopsy. 57 women having their first breast biopsy for suspected cancer took part. Researchers measured anxiety levels before and after the RESC session to see if it helped them feel calmer.
