Summary
This study aims to understand how anxiety and depression might be linked to more frequent flare-ups in people with bronchiectasis, a chronic lung disease. Researchers will enroll 300 adults with the condition to track their mental health and disease progression over five years. They will also analyze blood, sputum, and stool samples to look for biological markers that could explain this connection.
