Summary

This study looks at how anxiety changes in people with alcohol use disorder when they stop drinking. Researchers will use brain scans (fMRI) to see which brain areas are involved. They will study 60 adults—some with alcohol problems and some healthy—to track anxiety and brain activity over time. The goal is to better understand why anxiety happens during recovery.
