Summary
This study looks at whether using one or two antibiotics is better for treating a serious bloodstream infection caused by Enterococcus faecalis bacteria. The infection can be deadly, with a 15-25% risk of death. Researchers will compare the effects on death rates, treatment failure, kidney damage, and antibiotic resistance in 700 adult patients.
