Summary

This study aims to understand how a common antibiotic combination is removed by kidney dialysis machines in critically ill patients with severe infections. Researchers will measure drug levels in 24 intensive care patients who are on dialysis and receiving this antibiotic. The goal is to gather data to help doctors prescribe the most effective and safest dose for these vulnerable patients.
