First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jul 01, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving the pain drug Anrikefon before or during gallbladder surgery works better for reducing pain and helping recovery. 274 adults having laparoscopic gallbladder removal will receive the drug either 15 minutes before anesthesia or right after the gallbladder is removed. Researchers will track pain levels and recovery quality over 24 hours to find the best timing.

What this could lead to
If successful, this could show the best timing for Anrikefon to reduce pain after gallbladder surgery and improve recovery.
What could go wrong
