Race to recovery: two ankle rehab plans go Head-to-Head
NCT ID NCT06593912
Summary
This study aims to find the best way to recover after surgery for a torn ankle tendon. Fifty patients in Sweden will be randomly assigned to one of two different rehab plans after their operation. One plan uses a cast for six weeks, while the other switches to a supportive brace after three weeks to allow gentle movement. Researchers will track pain, strength, and movement for two years to see which plan works better.
