First seen Nov 06, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study compares three ways to manage pain after ankle fracture surgery: a long-acting numbing medicine injected during surgery, a regional nerve block, and standard pain care. The goal is to see which method reduces the need for strong painkillers like opioids. About 70 adults with certain types of ankle fractures will take part.
