Stretch or scrape? study tests two ways to boost ankle function

NCT ID NCT06915571

Summary

This study looked at whether two different physical therapy methods could improve ankle mobility, flexibility, and balance in active young adults. Researchers compared standard plantar fascia stretching to stretching combined with the Graston technique, a special instrument-assisted massage. The goal was to see which approach worked better for enhancing lower leg function and potentially preventing injuries.
