Summary
This study is testing if watching a short animated film and reading a storybook can help reduce fear and anxiety in children who have just been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. It will involve 64 children aged 7 to 12. One group will watch the film and read the book, while another group receives standard care, to see which approach is more helpful for easing their emotional distress.
