NCT ID NCT05487885
First seen Apr 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looked at anhedonia—a lack of interest or pleasure in activities—in 123 young people with depression. Participants completed brain scans, blood tests, and surveys to measure symptoms. Some also tried treatments like brain stimulation (TMS), positive thinking exercises, or ketamine. The goal was to better understand anhedonia and find new ways to help people whose depression doesn't improve with standard treatments.
