NCT ID NCT07449052
First seen Mar 09, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding special heart function tests to the standard stent procedure (angioplasty) can better relieve chest pain and improve quality of life in people with blocked heart arteries. About 450 adults with significant blockages in a major heart artery will take part. One group gets the standard stent procedure alone, while the other group gets the stent plus extra tests to check for other heart vessel problems, followed by targeted medications.
