First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study looks at 88 children having brain tumor surgery who also have epilepsy. Doctors want to know which anesthetic drug—fentanyl or ketamine—better helps them see seizure signals on brain monitors during the operation. The goal is to improve how surgeons find and remove the part of the brain causing seizures, while keeping the child safe.
