First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at how the type of anesthesia used during shoulder arthroscopy (a minimally invasive surgery) affects the surgeon's view and satisfaction. Researchers will compare general anesthesia to regional anesthesia (nerve block with sedation) in 82 adults scheduled for elective shoulder surgery. The goal is to see which method provides a clearer surgical field and better outcomes for patients, such as less pain and fewer side effects.
