Study aims to clear the air: which anesthesia combo is safer for kidney patients?
NCT ID NCT07203287
Summary
This study aims to find out which of two standard anesthesia drug combinations is safer for patients with chronic kidney disease having surgery. Researchers will compare two sets of drugs used to relax muscles during surgery and then reverse that effect afterward. They want to see which combination leads to fewer breathing problems, like pneumonia or low oxygen, in the week after the operation.
