New anesthesia technique aims for smoother surgery start
NCT ID NCT05509192
Summary
This study tested a new way to give anesthesia drugs to help place a breathing tube more easily at the start of surgery. Researchers compared this new method to the standard approach in 154 patients who were overweight or had potentially difficult airways. They measured how quickly and successfully the tube was placed, checked for side effects, and asked patients about their experience afterward.
