First seen Mar 11, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study compares three types of anesthesia for people having ankle arthroscopy (a minimally invasive surgery). The goal is to find which method helps patients wake up and go home the fastest. Two hundred adults aged 18 to 65 will be randomly assigned to receive either total intravenous anesthesia with a nerve block, general anesthesia with a nerve block, or spinal anesthesia. Researchers will measure recovery time, pain levels, and side effects.
