First seen Mar 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study compares three types of anesthesia for people having ankle surgery to see which one helps them recover and go home faster. Two hundred adults will be randomly assigned to receive either total intravenous anesthesia, general anesthesia, or spinal anesthesia, all combined with a nerve block. The main goal is to measure how quickly they wake up and are ready to leave the recovery room, along with pain levels and side effects.
